Valley View

The site was originally occupied by a small cottage situated at the top of a very steeply sloping site.

With the cottage in a poor condition and located between two adjacent dwellings, the brief from the client was to deliver a contemporary home which made best use of the site and views down the valley.

We therefore developed a concept where support was gained from the Council as part of pre-application submission before refining the design proposal. A full planning application was approved with the dwelling completed (Summer 2021).
